Yugande-me
Yugande-me:
This was the first trait that Raiden was taught by his father, Netto, from knowledge passed down through their bloodline. The technique in its original form was a Kekkei Genkai passed from his grandmothers side of the family, whom died shortly after giving birth to his father. Upon activation, this trait allows Raiden to view things in a slow motion-like sense, timing his next few moves perfectly. Though he rarely uses the ability because he prefers his "blind" style of fighting, when he DOES decide to use it he becomes able to manipulate a person's perceptive of reality. Raiden can in fact create optical, mental, emotional, physical-real, and even subconscious illusions or beings within his enemies' mind. An illusion cast by him will have actually taken place in real time, and cannot simply be extinguished by distortion techniques. The reason being that these illusions take up a physical form and can actually harm the person in real life, instead of just figurative illusions. His inquiry and refinement of this ability in the event that it is used, makes the man an extremely dangerous foe. These illusions are cast without warning thus a person wouldn't even know hen the illusion was placed.
[Note: The activation of this technique generates a different ocular image for each, meaning no two Mitsuorugi Yugande-me eyes are the same. For Raiden, upon the activation of this Kekkei Genkai, his irises keep their silver irises but the pupils turn whiteish grey and the sclera switches from white to an ice blue.]
Kyouku:
This technique is a first nature to Raiden as it is never deactivated, and is one of the main reasons why he is able to see through his opponents movements and pinpoint their locations. Unlike the normal eye, Netto can hone in on the natural energy signatures of his opponents along with their life force. Allowing him to see far beyond any surface spotting his opponent. An extremely useful trait. Same follows for natural substances effectively allowing him to see their molecules in a distinct color for each unique tool.
[Activation; Automatic]
Barrier [Not Mastered Yet]
Using one of the Yugande me's abilities, Raiden can create a barrier around himself or around a set location preventing attacks or any form of harmful substance from reaching him. On the contrary, this ability can also be used to trap an opponent within, then combined with other methods can prove a means of torture of death.
[Note: This barrier is otherwise see through, thus unable to be seen at any time of day. It has no color, nor distinct physical appearance, as it can be shaped to Raiden's whim. To his opponents the barrier is "Non-existent"]
Entrapment [Not Mastered Yet]
Raiden overtime developed a new ability in which he has so far never used, thus does not have any practice with it; just theory. Creating a box, prism, or any form of transparent-see through barrier around his opponent, Raiden can shrink the barrier to the size of a marble which would effectively squish, break, and most likely kill his opponent. Once the barrier has been placed, getting out of it is otherwise close to impossible since the barrier itself would probably be infused with several different energy sources and elements making using one method of escape basically not usable. Several different methods have to be applied in order to even bend the incarceration device.
Along with forming it, Raiden can also bend and manipulate this as though he was moving his own limb, opening holes and such for specific or various options. Suffocation within this barrier like contraption is also possible depending on whether or not Raiden uses his element manipulation to do so. And given that there is really no way out as the barrier surrounds the persons entirety including the ground, it's hard to say if one could actually break free of the device. Impervious to explosions of most any kind, breaking free in that sense wouldn't work. As the blast would be contained and the overall impact of the explosion would only kill the captive since the damage would be concentrated inside of the entrapment barrier.
[Note: This technique activates at the focal point of sight, thus is extremely fast and otherwise "Near" impossible to dodge.]
